Madhvaon Brahma Sūtra 2.1.19

The Sutrakara holds the above view not only because scripture declares Brahman to be working with means but also because reason supports the view; for the creation (making) of cloths, etc,, is observed to take place with (materials and) means other than the agent working at it.
