Concepts
Concepts
Recurring questions in Vedānta, traced through what Śaṅkara, Rāmānuja and Madhva actually wrote, with the textual evidence that supports each reading.
Each concept opens with a broad question, and the distinct positions within it are set out separately, each shown with evidence only from the commentators whose texts state it. A shared question does not mean the commentators agree, and where one of them does not appear under a position, that reflects the evidence included so far, not a judgment about his teaching.
