Madhvaon Brahma Sūtra 2.4.8

For the Gaupavana Sruti says : “ In his subtle essen- tial form, he indeed remains permanent; sometimes he originates in gross forms; hence he is both subtle and gross; by nature he is subtle, in other (forms) he is gross. •Therefore they say he has a beginning and no beginning.”
