Śaṅkaraon Brahma Sūtra 3.4.37

It is recorded in itihdsas also how Sa^warta and others who paid no regard to the duties incumbent on the d.yramas, in going naked and so on, became great Yogins all the same.—But the instances quoted from scripture and Smnti furnish merely indicatory marks ; what then is the final conclusion ?—That conclusion is stated in the next SOtra.
