तडितोऽधि वरुणः संबन्धात्
taḍito'dhi varuṇaḥ saṃbandhāt
Sūtra translation
Beyond lightning (there is) Varu;/a, on account of the connexion (of the two).
The AV/Andogya continues, ‘From Aditya to the moon, from the moon to lightning.’ Here Varu//a (mentioned in the Kaushitaki-upan.) has to be brought in
